Advanced Surf Lessons

Do you want to:

Then Richie's advanced surf coaching is right for you.  This coaching is aimed at surfers looking to advance their surfing techniques.  It will enable you as an aspiring rider to get more out of your surfs and up your performance in the water.

Surf Lesson Time:

• Daily. Choose from either 10am or 2pm. (Times may vary slightly depending on the tides)

Surf Lesson Includes:

• Changing Facilities
• Choice of trying various surf boards
• Surf Assessment
• 10 min land coaching
• Approximately 1 hour of surfing, drills and instruction
• 20 min Session Summary and Analysis back at Surf Coach Ireland HQ
• Personal Video Analysis (extra €20)

Session Schedule:

• Make your way down to Surfworld Surf Shop 15min prior to your surf session starting.
• Here you will meet Richie and if you don't already have your own gear, we will kit you out with a wetsuit and board.
• We will then advise you on which beach you will be having your surf lesson. Most lessons are held at Tullan Strand. But if the swell or wind isn't right, then we often use Rossnowlagh or Streedagh. Some intermediate lessons/coaching sessions are also held at many of the local reef breaks such as The Peak.
• You can then either grab a lift with Richie in one of the Surf Coach Ireland vans or make your own way down to the designated beach where Richie will meet you.  By having your own transport to the beach, you also have your own towels and change of clothes ready immediately for you once you get out of the water.
