For safety reasons, surf lessons are generally divided into adults and kids groups. But we know that some parents like to go out with their own kids and many children feel safer with their parents out in the water with them. That's why we've developed our own Family Surf Packages that enable children of all ages to go surfing with their folks!
These surf lessons are a fantastic way for all the family to have fun together in a controlled and safe environment.
Surf Lesson Time:
- Daily 364 days a year (Closed Christmas Day). Choose from either 10am or 2pm. Extra daily sessions may be available, so just ask!
Surf Lesson Includes:
- All equipment (surfboard, wetsuits, booties)
- Changing Facilities
- Transport to/from the beach
- A fun introduction to surfing
- 20 min land coaching
- Allow 3 hours from start to finish
Surf Lesson Schedule:
- Make your way down to Surfworld Surf Shop (Main Street, Bundoran, Co. Donegal - next to the Holyrood Hotel) 30min prior to your lesson starting. Here we will kit you out with your trendy surf gear!
- Next we will get everyone together, do some introductions and then advise you on which beach you will be having your surf lesson. Most lessons are held at Tullan Strand. But if the swell or wind isn't right, then we often use Rossnowlagh or Streedagh.
- Then we all head to the designated beach where our surf instructors will introduce you to the exhilarating sport of surfing.
- Get ready for the ride of your life!! Let's go surfing!!
What to bring:
- Bathers/swimming costume to wear underneath your wetsuit.
- Towel
