Ok, Ok so you've had loads of beginner surf lessons (there's only so many beginner surf lessons you can do right!?) It's time then to move onto a more advanced surf lesson. Our intermediate/improver surf lessons progress your surfing past that initial level. These lessons teach you how to get out of the white water, surf down the line and start you on your way to turning and using the face of the wave!

Do you want to:

• Improve your timing, paddling and takeoff?
• Perfect your stance, balance and basic technique?
• Learn how to turn?
• Surf frontside and backside?
• Increase your wave count and develop your wave selection?
• Learn to duckdive?

Then Richie's intermediate surf lesson is right for you. Enjoy a group or individual intermediate surf lesson with Surf Coach Ireland and build on your strengths, improve your skills and all round surfing technique. Surf Lesson Time:

• Daily.  Choose from either 10am, 2pm or 4.30pm

Surf Lesson Includes:

• All equipment if you don't already have your own
• Changing Facilities
• Shower Facilities
• Introduction (includes equipment check, wave and sea assessment, surf etiquette & beach drills)
• 10 min surf evaluation
• 10 min land coaching
• Approximately 2 hours of surfing, drills and instruction

Session Schedule:

• Make your way down to Surfworld Surf Shop (Main Street, Bundoran - next to the Holyrood Hotel) 15min prior to your surf session starting.
• Here you will meet Richie and if you don't already have your own gear, we will kit you out with a wetsuit and board.
• We will then advise you on which beach you will be having your surf lesson. Most lessons are held at Tullan Strand. But if the swell or wind isn't right, then we often use Rossnowlagh or Streedagh. Some intermediate lessons/coaching sessions are also held at many of the local reef breaks such as The Peak.
• You can then either grab a lift with Richie in one of the Surf Coach Ireland vans or make your own way down to the designated beach where Richie will meet you.  By having your own transport to the beach, you also have your own towels and change of clothes ready immediately for you once you get out of the water.

What to bring:

• Board and Wetsuit if you have them
• Towel
• Big smile on your face!
