Kids Summer Surf Camps

We run super fun Kids Surf Camps during the Easter break in April and also during the Summer Holidays in June, July & August. Our small groups and personalised attention means your child gets only the best care and surf instruction at all times. Our surf instructors are great with kids (they're big kids themselves really!) and they make sure that your child's safety and enjoyment is of top priority.

Surf Lesson Time:

Monday to Friday 9.15am - 11.45am/12pm (Please arrive down at Surfworld for 9.15am sharp to be ready for a 9.30am start)

Kids Surf Lesson Age:

8 - 16 years of age. (Children under the age of 8 may join but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)

Surf Lesson Includes:

All equipment (surfboard, wetsuit, booties)
Changing Facilities
An introduction to surfing with equipment overview, wave/sea assessment, safety talks
20 min land coaching
Allow 3 hours from start to finish
All of our instructors are Irish Surfing Association approved with a certificate in Beach Lifeguarding and Child Protection

Surf Lesson Schedule:

Make your way down to Surfworld Surf Shop (Main Street, Bundoran, Co. Donegal - next to the Holyrood Hotel) for 9.15am. It is important that you arrive at this time to allow enough time to change into your wetsuit and get ready for your lesson at 9.30am.
Next we will get everyone together at our coaching facility, do some introductions and then advise you on which beach you will be having your surf lesson. Most lessons are held at Tullan Strand, Bundoran. But if the swell or wind isn't right, then we often use Rossnowlagh or Streedagh.
Then we all head to the designated beach where our surf instructors will introduce you to the exhilarating sport of surfing. You may ride with us in our minibus or use your own transport.
